It appears that the area that is planned as Overstory Removal is the required Leave Trees for the area that was harvested in the past (younger timber to the north and west). The area can't be cut until the younger trees in the prior harvested area reach an average of 11 inches DBH and at least 30 feet tall.

Request was made to renew the Notification and was renewed. There are 2 fish streams and a domestic water stream in the operation area and operating within 100 feet of those will require a written plan. No written plans have been turned in as of today.

I contacted the operator and explained that there were 2 fish streams and a domestic water stream in the operation area. Operating within 100 feet of these would require a written plan. I discussed the required waiting period for them.
