Met with operator on June 1 for pre-op. Mentioned that operation may start at any time as long as he stayed at least 50 feet away from the fish stream. We discussed how to measure basal area in the RMA and operator will get those numbers to ODF to discuss options before working near stream.

It appears there may be two fish stream that go through the harvest area. The operation may start on or before May 30th (as requested) as long as no trees are cut within 100 feet of the streams. I suggest meeting onsite sometime early next week to talk about working closer to the streams if that's something you are interested in. I also left a voicemail describing staying away from the streams at least 100 feet until we discuss further. Feel free to call or email to discuss further.
