Response to Statutory Written Plan required by: • ORS 527. 670(3)(a) and OAR 629-605-0170(2) for operations within 50 feet of a small Type F stream. After reviewing your written plan, I offer you the following comments. • Fully implementing this written plan is likely to achieve the resource protection standards. This operation will be evaluated on the basis of how well required practices are applied and how well required resource protection is achieved.

Weyerhaeuser harvest map from 2014 showing previous fish stream protection along Nelson Creek has been uploaded. This same section of Nelson Creek will be considered a small fish stream until a fish survey shows different results.

Phone discussion with Bethany Miller about the status of Nelson Creek and the need for a written plan. Nelson Creek is currently classified as unknown for fish use and would required a written plan if any part of the operation is within 50 feet of the high water mark.
