Multiple marbled murrelet sites have been identified in the operation area. Please be aware that compliance with the Forest Practices Act is not in lieu of compliance with any federal requirements related to the federal Endangered Species Act. Federal law prohibits a person from taking marbled murrelets. Landowners and operators are encouraged to communicate directly with the USFWS regarding requirements under the federal Endangered Species Act.
