    Based on the information provided by the landowner and the acknowledgements of the appropriate county planning department representative and county assessor, the plan for alternate practice in lieu of reforestation is approved.

    The harvest area notified is within the area regulated for Sudden Oak Death (SOD) as per OAR 603-052-1230. As of the date of this comment, the area is more than a quarter mile from the nearest known infected location and is not within the Generally Infected Area (GIA). The harvest and transport of Tanoak requires a permit from the Oregon Department of Agriculture.
