Surveys for the Northern Spotted Owl (Strix occidentalis caurina) at 16 calling stations in Silver Falls State Park according to guidelines in USFWS “Protocol for Surveying Proposed Management Activities that May Impact Northern Spotted Owls”, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, February 2, 2011. Survey stations will cover all suitable habitat on Park property within 1.2 miles of planned operations.
