This operation appears to be within 100’ of Morgan Creek (M/SSBt) which is required to be protected. Written plans are required to address protection measures needed for any operation which takes place within 100’ of a Type F or D stream. THE REQUIRED WRITTEN PLAN WAS NOT RECEIVED THE WITH NOTIFICATION. At this time the notifer, David Briggs is unsure where harvest will take place. As long as no activity takes place within the above mentioned streams riparian management areas (RMA): M/SSBt (RMA = 80') then no written plan is required. Written plan is waived for timber harvesting activities outside of the RMA of these streams. The notified clearcut harvest unit is over 120 acres. Per ORS 527.740 No harvest type 3 unit within a single ownership shall exceed 120 acres in size. After discussion with the landowner, no single operation will exceed the 120 acre size limit.
