It has been said by the Operator Steve Macauley that his water supply (Trailer) does not meet state standards with respect to the pump GPM and PSI. A waiver would need to be requested by the Landowner prior to operating during this Closed Fire Season. Mobile water supply needs to be 300 gallons and a stationary water supply such as a trailer would need to be 500 gallons, both of which must be equipped with no less than 500' hose, nozzle and pump 20 gallons per minute at 115 PSI. As of todays date we are NOT in Fire Season. If operation is not complete prior to fall rains arriving, it is recommended to suspended the operation until the dry season next year to protect the dirt road system that is not suitable for wet weather use and to further protect Coleman Creek (Fish Stream) that must be crossed in multiple locations during log hauling.

Please retain 80 square feet of basal area per acre post harvest of conifer species or reforestation will be required. The southern most polygon contains Muddy Creek which is a Medium Fish Stream which flows in a northeast to southwest direction. This stream has a Riparian Management Area of 70' each side of the stream as measured slope distance from high water. If any operations are to be conducted within 70' a Statutory Written Plan must be submitted first prior to any activity to ensure resource protection. Please haul only during dry periods to prevent any road sediment from entering any waters of the state as haul routes are mostly all dirt and not suitable for wet weather haul.
